Cosmate® PGA, a premium sodium polyglutamate derived from the traditional Japanese food “Natto”. This exceptional natural multifunctional biopolymer is produced through fermentation with Bacillus subtilis. As a water-soluble homopolymer, Cosmate® PGA has a unique structure consisting of D-glutamic acid and L-glutamic acid monomers linked by an amide bond between the α-amino and γ-carboxyl groups.
