Cosmate^®Quat73, Quaternium-73 acts as an anti-microbial and anti-dandruff agent. It works against Propionibacterium acnes. It is used as an effective antibacterial preservative. Cosmate^®Quat73 is used in formulating deodorants and skin-, hair- & body care products.

Cosmate^®Quat73 has an excellent effect on acnes,it’s used as an anti-acne ingredient.  The reason why it can have such a strong anti-acne effect is mainly because it has strong antibacterial activity, it can destroy bacterial and fungal cell membranes, has an excellent effect on Bacillus acnes propionic acid, and better antiseptic properties than parabens.
